Our Human Capital Office
The Human Capital Office’s fundamental role is to ensure the success of every IRS Business and Operating Unit by providing human capital strategies and tools for recruiting, hiring, developing, retaining, and transitioning a highly-skilled and high-performing workforce to support IRS mission accomplishments.
Human capital is a critical link to business strategies and organizational success. Within the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) the term "human capital" represents the philosophy that linking critical human capital assets to business strategies ultimately leads to organizational success, and recognizes that IRS employees are critical to the attainment of the IRS vision.
The Human Capital Office is dedicated to making the IRS an employer of choice and a leader in human capital planning and management.
