Terri Attorney My day is never predictable. I'm hardly ever bored. My job involves a lot of coordination and participating in the congressional activities as it relates to developing tax legislation. It also involves working with the Office of Legislative Affairs in preparing testimonies for any IRS witnesses who may be called to testify before a congressional committee. If you're interested in a job in the Office of Chief Counsel, I would suggest that you learn as much tax law as you can. I feel that I have more control over my schedule, as opposed to when I waswith the private sector. There really wasn't an opportunty to be able to manage your work. I find that I learn something new every day. It's quite challenging. And more importantly, I feel that we're contributing.
