ACB JOB CONNECTION is an American Council of the Blind sponsored job bank updated every 2 weeks.
EnabledOnline has links to job and resume posting sites. It provides articles including news on real lives of people with disabilities; access and technology; news and events; and health and recreation. There is also a message board/chat feature.
Equal Employment Opportunities Publications On-Line Resume Database Here applicants can post resumes and employers have access to a resume database. The site lists upcoming career fairs, and companies and U.S. agencies that are actively recruiting.
HirePotential is a site that empowers persons with disabilities, their families and friends, by being a conduit for education. The site offers on-line career services, employment opportunities, financial services, and home loan and real estate services. It provides information on access solutions, news briefs, articles, etc. It also offers a WebMedia talking browser as a free download.
Disability Organizations and Networks
Strategic Recruitment makes a great effort to reach out to a variety of disability organizations and networks in order to achieve our goal of increasing the number of talented people who have disabilities in our workforce.
Association on Higher Education & Disability (AHEAD)
Founded in 1977, AHEAD is an international multicultural organization of professionals committed to full participation in higher education for persons with disabilities. It addresses needs and concerns for upgrading quality of services and support available to persons with disabilities in higher education. It has training programs, publications, and conferences. There are counselors on university and community college campuses who help students in their academic and social lives.
Business Leadership Network(BLN)
BLN directly addresses the need expressed by employers for accurate information about hiring job candidates with disabilities and for access to qualified applicants with disabilities.
Department of Defense's Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP)
CAP provides assistive technology and services to accommodate individuals with disabilities, federal managers, supervisors, IT professionals, and Wounded Services Members.
This site was created by the government mandate, “New Freedom Initiative,” in order to connect people with disabilities to the information and resources they need to pursue their personal and professional ambitions. It provides website links to information of interest to people with disabilities, their families, employers, and service providers.

Job Accommodation Network (JAN)
JAN provides expert accommodation information before, during, and after the recruitment process. It is a confidential service that allows any manager or employee to receive individualized information on his/her accommodation issue. It is run by the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) in the Department of Labor.
Mobility International USA (MIUSA)
MIUSA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with disabilities around the world through international exchange, information, technical assistance and training. In 1995, MIUSA launched The National Clearinghouse on Disability & Exchange to educate people with disabilities and disability-related organizations about international exchange opportunities.
National Organization on Disability (NOD)
Founded in 1982, NOD promotes equal participation of America's 54 million people with disabilities. It promotes employment through recognition of CEO's and their companies; and advises businesses on disability matters. It offers internships to high school students with disabilities to increase self-confidence and give first-time work experience.
Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA)
RSA provides Federal funds in support of the Projects with Industry (PWI) program, the Centers for Independent Living (CIL) program, and the Migrant Seasonal Farm Workers (MSFW) program. Individuals receiving services from these programs are not always clients of state Vocational Rehabilitation Services programs. Many times, through the provision of independent living services, individuals with severe disabilities can substantially increase their opportunities for employment. Bureaus can explore opportunities for outreach and collaboration with RSA-supported organizations to develop additional recruiting resources to improve employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
State Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies (SVRAs) (contact information varies by state) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provide counseling, evaluation, training and other services to individuals with disabilities, including disabled veterans. Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies can provide information regarding reasonable accommodations, effective retention strategies, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, and sensitivity training for the bureaus. They can also play a critical role in certification of candidates for applicable Schedule A appointing authorities.
World Institute on Disability (WID)
WID is a non-profit, international public policy center dedicated to carrying out cutting edge research on disability issues and overcoming obstacles to independent living. It offers employment opportunities, and provides links to a variety of websites: organizations, media, technology and accessibility sites, health care, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and employment, work support and research sites.
Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities (WRP)
WRP is a great program for Federal employment opportunities jointly run by the Office of Disability Employment Policy and the Department of Defense. The program helps connect public and private sector employers nationwide with highly motivated post-secondary students and recent graduates with disabilities. The WRP seeks to: (1) provide college students with disabilities the opportunity to obtain summer employment that may lead to permanent employment in the Federal or private sector; and (2) break down attitudinal barriers held by employers and co-workers by demonstrating that people with disabilities can work successfully in a variety of jobs.
