We are looking for qualified candidates in 18 locations nationwide to fill positions at the GS 11 and 12 grade levels, depending upon experience; Economists with transfer pricing experience will be considered at the GS-13 grade level. As an Economist with the Transfer Pricing Practice (TPP) in Large Business & International (LB&I) Division, you will provide economic analysis in tax audits and consultations as part of a team of revenue agents, tax law specialists, managers, and other specialists. You may be responsible for issues and cases involving technical, highly contentious, and unique economic and valuation issues. You'll need to demonstrate that you have:
Bachelor or higher degree in Economics or
Combination of specialized education and experience.
Experience performing & interpreting research to draw conclusions.
Experience working with economic and financial information in research projects.
Experience collaborating successfully with other professionals.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
