These information sessions and job fairs provide you with insights about some of the most interesting positions we offer. This page is updated regularly, so please check back often. In-Person Hiring Events

Clerks and Tax Examiners - Select cities below

We are hosting in-person hiring events for our Clerk and Tax Examiner positions for our main service centers in Austin, TX; Kansas City, MO; and Ogden, UT. These positions perform a variety of clerical and customer support positions associated with tax administration. You will be asked to register and pre-apply to an exclusive (nonpublic) announcement prior to the event. Contact Representatives - Kansas City, MO 

We are hosting a two-day, in-person hiring event for our entry-level Contact Representative positions in Kansas City, MO. In these positions, you will be trained to work directly with taxpayers to resolve a variety of collection issues on their tax accounts. For this event, you will be asked to register and pre-apply to an exclusive (nonpublic) announcement to be prequalified. Mississippi Delta Area Opportunities New!

Our Small Business/Self Employed (SBSE) Division is hosting two events for entry level positions in the Mississippi Delta area. SBSE Tax Specialists plan and conduct independent and limited examinations and explain taxpayer examination and appeals rights, and SBSE Tax Examiners/Clerks provide administrative support to the SBSE Collection and Examination functions. Revenue Officer New!

During this virtual event, you'll hear from SBSE managers in the Field Collection Division discussing the Revenue Officer position. Revenue Officers collect delinquent tax and secure delinquent returns from taxpayers who have not resolved their obligations in response to prior correspondence or other contact. We'll discuss the day-to-day duties, how to qualify and how to write an effective federal resume. Click below to register:

HR Specialists - Federal Employees only

The Human Capital Office is hosting a virtual information session, for federal HR Specialists (GS-201) only. We'll be discussing our unique, expert-level HR Specialist positions in our Labor & Employee Relations and Negotiation, Classification, and Policy and Programs Consultant areas within Talent Acquisition.
